Stakeholder engagement: End of Season Review
On Tuesday May 26, 2026, Saint Lucia Cruise Port in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industries, Culture and Innovation hosted the annual end-of-cruise-season stakeholder review. Port agents, tour operators, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA), Ministry of Health, Community tourism Agency, the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) and other key partners attended. The meeting reviewed the October 2025 – April 2026 season, which welcomed 693,010 passengers a 7.3% passenger increase over the previous season.
SLTA presented findings from the passenger survey carried out in partnership with SLCP in the past season, revealing key insights on source markets, average spend, disembarkation preferences, and preferred destination-related activities. These results will further support and guide the efforts from both SLTA and SLCP as they refine the overall strategy for cruise tourism in Saint Lucia.
Breakout sessions allowed stakeholders to identify major operational challenges and develop practical actionable solutions to improve overall port operations and experience for both local operators and passengers.

Construction Updates
Vendor’s Arcade
Construction is underway at all four sites under the Saint Lucian Cruise Port Project. The Vendor’s Arcade is scheduled to deliver 44 retail units and a modern toilet amenity by the end of June 2026. SLCP assumed operational control of the entire construction site on May 18th, 2026, allowing the team to accelerate work and complete the facility ahead of the new cruise season.
