Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Tenancy Opportunity at the Bananes Bay Fisherman’s Village
The Saint Lucia Cruise Port (SLCP) invites interested businesses, entrepreneurs, and cultural practitioners to apply for tenancy at the upcoming Bananes Bay Fisherman’s Village, a new waterfront destination celebrating our island’s rich maritime heritage.
Opening soon at Bananes Bay, this vibrant village will blend authentic fisheries activity with world-class dining, cultural experiences, and local retail, creating a premier gateway into the community’s living traditions.
Signature Restaurant Operator – A premium dining concept showcasing Saint Lucian seafood, culinary creativity, and elevated service standards.
The Signature Restaurant will serve as the Village’s premier dining and meeting destination, an elevated, culturally rooted space where Saint Lucia’s maritime heritage meets modern culinary excellence. With a menu built around the daily catch from the Bananes Bay fishing community, the restaurant will transform fresh, sustainably sourced seafood into refined dishes that celebrate local tradition with contemporary flair.
Beyond its culinary appeal, the restaurant will offer a polished, touristic and business‑friendly environment ideal for cruise and stayover visitors, executive lunches, client meetings, and professional gatherings. This dual positioning makes it a cornerstone for both visitor engagement and local economic activity.
Prominently located along the waterfront and adjacent to the operational fish landing site, the Signature Restaurant will be the Village’s most visible and influential tenant. Its placement ensures:
- Immediate recognition by cruise passengers arriving via tender
- Strong appeal to local professionals seeking premium dining close to Castries
- A natural hub for social and business gatherings
This makes the Signature Restaurant a year‑round anchor, not just a cruise‑day attraction.
We welcome applications from:
- Established businesses seeking a high-visibility waterfront location
- Culinary innovators with a passion for local seafood and cultural storytelling
- Hospitality groups capable of investing in high‑quality fit‑out and operations
- Businesses committed to community partnership and cultural authenticity
